Tottenham Hotspur have become the latest club to express their interest in Manchester City striker Emanuel Adebayor

Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has confirmed that the club are holding talks with Manchester City over the availability of striker Emanuel Adebayor. The former Arsenal striker joined Manchester City in 2009 after spending three years with the Gunners. Adebayor found the back of the net fifteen times in thirty four appearances for Manchester City. Redknapp looks to bring another striker to White Hart Lane following the departure of Robbie Keane, so Tottenham could be a possible destination for the out of favour Manchester City striker

Redknapp:  "The chairman is talking to Man City about the player but where they (the negotiations) are at, I genuinely don't know."
