Peter Odemwingie who was perhaps West Bromwich Albion's best player last season says he will only leave The Baggies for a top club. Odemwingie who finished as West Brom's leading goal scorer after he netted fifteen goals in thirty two appearances for the club in his debut season has been linked with moves to Tottenham and Arsenal. Tottenham are in the hunt for a striker following Robbie Keane's departure to LA Galaxy. Arsenal's Nicklas Bendtner looks set to leave The Gunners, so both clubs will be looking to the sign a striker during this summer transfer season. West Brom recently turned down an offer from Wigan for the Nigerian striker.
Odemwingie writes on Twitter about his future: ‘To my dear WBA supporters . I love this club and will leave only to a TOP team which is understandable. Nothing abnormal is going on. Contract is not signed cos of the duration of it. Figures agreed long time ago cos I know this is not Real Madrid. Please be patient.’
