Peter Lovenkrands believes Newcastle should have been awarded a penalty in their 0-0 draw with Manchester United yesterday

Lovenkrands is unhappy with the referee and he felt he should have been awarded a penalty, when he was brought down in the box by United midfielder Anderson.

Lovenkrands: "When it happened, I was quite sure that there was an offence, and now that I've seen the situation on television, I am still surprised that I did not get it."

"It was a clear-cut penalty, because he removed my legs."
