£50 million man Fernando Torres scored his long awaited Chelsea goal as The Blues cruised to a 3-0 victory over West Ham

Fernando Torres who joined Chelsea for £50 million in the January transfer window, has ended his long run of going 901 minutes for club and country without scoring a goal. The Chelsea striker came on as a substitute and he netted his first goal in a Chelsea shirt in the 84th minute. Torres also picked up an assist as he set up Florent Malouda who scored in the 90th minute. Lampard was the other goal scorer for The Blues as he scored just before half time to give Chelsea 1-0 lead at the half
