20 year-old striker Henrique of Santos looks set to join Mark Hughes at Loftus Road on an 18 month loan with a view to become permanent 2013. Henrique led the Under-20 Brazil squad to the World Youth Cup last year and was the top scorer of the tournament.
Henrique himself has stated that he doesn't 'know anything' in regards to a transfer but his coach, Emerson Leao, has admitted that his star striker could be on the move in the January transfer window. He stated: "Henrique could leave tomorrow or any time soon."
He will be a great addition to Mark Hughes' new team and could help them avoid relegation and possibly push for a top half finish, where Mark Hughes feels a team like QPR should be at this stage if not among the top 6.

Tottenham eyeing Marseille star Loic Remy
Tottenham are looking at bringing Marseille striker Loic Remy to White Hart Lane in a bid to push for the premier league title. The striker could cost Tottenham £20m but will be a worthy purchase as he has scored 21 goals in 44 appearances for Marseille.
Harry Redknapp has confirmed that he will travel to France on today to watch Marseille play Lille. Redknapp has previously stated that he will only dip into the January transfer market if the opportunity for one 'special player' arises and someone that he feels can boost the team, similar to the acquisition of Rafael Van der Vaart.

Boas remains faithful in Luiz after claiming that he is capable of becoming one of the best defenders in the world
Chelsea's big money signing David Luiz from last January hasn't quite lived up to expectations this season. When he was purchased by the Blues last January he was at impressive at times, however towards the end of last season he was struck with a sudden run of poor form which has carried on into this season. Luiz has made a series of defensive errors this season, however Chelsea boss Andre Villas Boas remains confident in the clubs big money signing from Benfica last January. Boas believes that he can go on to become one of the best defenders in the world. Luiz has been on the receiving end of some criticism by many Footballing pundits which can be perceived as unfair by many Chelsea supporters. Despite of all of the criticism that Luiz has received this season, Villas Boas believes that he has got all of the qualities required to become one of the best defenders in the world and he feels that some of the criticism he has received is undeserved.
What Villas had to say about David Luiz: "If everybody had perfect games, media pundits would have no jobs because there'd be no one to criticise. If that was the case, they'd have to find jobs in professional football, which is a little bit harder," "I think David has played fantastically since the start. You have to agree that there are misconceptions created from the start, since the player's arrival. "Maybe a player's performances get a stamp he has to carry for the rest of his life. Just maybe, people got that impression with David. "I saw him in Portugal for one and a half seasons, and now I have the privilege of working with him. "He's going to be one of the greatest central defenders in the world. Why? Because of his characteristics: technical ability, anticipation and speed. "There is a nature in a Premier League game that you have to adapt to, it's culturally different to other countries. That might be a massive shock, to come from Portugal to England, but you've seen people succeed doing that, including Ricardo Carvalho. David will be the same. "He does not have anything to prove and doesn't deserve some of the criticism he has received."
Chelsea defender Alex looks set to become Mark Hughes' first signing as manager of QPR as the Hoops have bid accepted by Chelsea
With Gary Cahill set to join Chelsea, one man who certainly looks to be on his way out of the Bridge is Alex, who is on the verge of a move to Lotus Road. Chelsea have confirmed that they have accepted a bid from QPR for Brazilian defender Alex. Following the summer arrival of manager Andre Villas Boas, Alex has dropped down in the pecking order and the chances of him retaining his place in the first team are becoming increasingly low as Bolton defender Garry Cahill looks to be on his way to the bridge. Mark Hughes the new manager of Queens Park Rangers will be looking to improve a QPR side which currently sit 17th in the league table. The signing of Alex is likely to kick of a series of signings at Loftus Road after QPR owner Tony Fernandes reassured Hughes that he would be given a suitable amount of funds required for him to improve the clubs league position. Having seen limited first team opportunities at Chelsea this season, the defender made a clear statement that he isn't willing to settle for a place on the bench, by handing in a transfer request in December. QPR were one of may clubs who were alerted by Alex's demand to leave Chelsea and currently Loftus Road looks the most likely destination for the defender following an accepted bid by Chelsea from QPR for the defender. Alex is guaranteed to be a regular in the QPR eleven if a move does go through and Alex is looking to leave the club in search of first team football. As it stands QPR are the front runners for the signature of Alex.
Toffees confirm Gibson signing
Everton FC have confirmed that they have reached an agreement with Manchester United to bring midfielder Darren Gibson to Goodison Park. Gibson joins Everton for a fee which is believe to be in the region of £2.5m. The 24 year old joins Everton on four-and-a-half-year deal and he will be most certainly be looking to establish himself in the Everton first team. Gibson is expected to play some part in Everton's fixture today against Aston Villa, after confirmation was received that he has made the squad to face Aston Villa.Gibson has been impressive at times when given the call up by Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson, however the reasoning behind is move to Everton seems to be completely down to the fact that he has been given a very limited amount of first team opportunities at Old Trafford. Gibson is more commonly know for his ability strike a ball from just outside the box and he has done this on many occasions for Sir Alex Ferguson's side. Manchester United legend Paul Scholes recently came out of retirement to face Manchester City at the Ethaid stadium, in a match which saw United progress to the next round of the F.A cup. United won the match 2-3. The reintroduction of Paul Scholes, has seen the Gibson drop even further down in the picking order leaving him behind the likes of Anderson, Carrick, Giggs and Cleverly who is injured at this point in time. Gibson looks to be the ideal signing for Everton manager David Moyes, currently his Everton side doesn't possess much of a goal threat, however Moyes will be looking turn things around in front of goal following the reintroduction of LA Galaxy forward Landon Donovan. Donovan who had a successful loan spell with the Toffees in 2010, has also joined the club this month. Donovan's move comes in the form of a loan deal. Donovan is one of three MLS stars who have agreed to join Premier League sides this January. David Moyes decision to dip into the transfer market in search of attacking quality looks as though it could pay of. Gibson has scored 10 goals during his time at Old Trafford and Moyes will be hoping that his goal can help them increase their league position.
